about

Agnes Tai is a designer and creative who graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design. Through her work, Agnes explores personal narration through the context of questioning and clashing identities, using the process of garment making and the tangibility of clothing to not only present a visual narrative, but also to externalize a method of self exploration. During her final year at Parsons, she co-curated an independent group exhibition called Perceptions of Us, in which she showcased her senior thesis project among 3 other Asian-American artists and designers. Furthermore, Agnes has also worked with New York City based brands Nicholas K, Elizabeth and James, and Theory.
